Be Thankful
conscious of benefit received for what we are about to receive make us truly thankful, expressive of thanks, thankful service.

In positive psychology research, gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness. Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships.

Gratitude, thankfulness, or gratefulness is from the Latin word gratus, which means “pleasing” or “thankful.” Is regarded as a feeling of appreciation (or similar positive response) by a recipient of another’s kindness.

A thankful heart is a heart full of gratitude for the things that God has done and continues to do in and through our life. It is the difference between a negative and positive attitude. It is also the only way that God can use our lives as a living testimony of His love, kindness, mercy, and grace.

How can we be thankful?
-Notice good things, look for them, appreciate them
-Savor, absorb, and really pay attention to those good things
-Express your gratitude to yourself, write it down, or thank someone.
