Clams with Sausage


1 kg Clams
75gr Sausage chopped
1tbsp oil extra virgin
1 Small onion chopped
1 Garlic clove chopped
Large sprig of thyme
100ml sherry

Crusty bread

Put the clams on the bowl under cold water for 5 minutes.
In saucepan cook the chorizo with extra oil for 6 minutes, remove the chorizo, then add the onions, garlic, thyme, sprig, and fry for 10 minutes, increase the heat and add the
clams and chorizo back, pour sherry and cover with a lid, cooking for 3 minutes. When the clams is open.
Serve with crusty bread.
