Use a circle (2 cardboard disc) wind 2 cm length of wool into a ball small enough to lift through the hole in the disc.
Wind wool around the disc binding them together.
When one balls is finished, tie the end to the beginning of a new one.
Continue until the disc are completely covered.
Cut around the edges of the wool, it will start to look like fringing.
Thread 2 lengths of 20 cm wool between the 2 cardboard discs.
Pull together and knot tightly.
The loose ends will form the hanging loop.
So tie another knot (8 cm) from the first and trim the ends.
Gently pull the cardboard disc away from the pompom and fluff the pompom in your tree!
