Gingerbread Tree


600gr plain flour
1tsp baking powder
3tsp ground ginger
1tsp cinnamon
pinch of ground cloves
150gr muscovado sugar
300gr butter (soft)
150gr black treacle

to décor:
500gr royal icing sugar
pearls balls
gold stars

Put the flour, baking powder, spices and sugar into the bowl and mix, add the butter and blend until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs,
pour in the trade and mix until clumps,
use your hands to bring the dough together,
divide the dough into 4 discs and place each one between 2 sheets of grease proof paper roll,
out each piece of dough,
peel off the top sheet of paper and cut equal stars of different sizes,
preheat the oven 170*C
and after 30′ in fridge the dough, start to bake for 12′ after they are brown,
make icing and with piping bag (small) fill with icing outline the biscuits and then decor,
finish with little star!
You can use too powder sugar
